The government recently announced a number of accountability measures supporting its commitment to Open Government by promoting greater transparency in classified agencies. From April 1, 2015, expense information must be posted on the Assessment Review Board (ARB) website.
The public disclosure of expense information improves transparency, strengthens accountability and helps to ensure the prudent use of taxpayer dollars. The Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive require the posting of expense information by designated individuals in every provincial agency.
To date, designated persons of ARB have not incurred any travel, meal or hospitality expenses.
